Exhibition Preview: Human Stories: The Satirists at NOW Gallery

The Net Gallery returns to London’s NOW Gallery this week to capture their latest exhibition: Human Stories: The Satirists.

A group show of emerging photographic talent, the exhibition explores the concept of satire through photography – particularly how it is used to develop and nurture interconnected, diverse identities, gender, race and class. Featuring six photographers and film-makers – Bubi Canal, Leonard Suryajaya, Nyugen Smith, Thandiwe Muriu, Thy Tran and Stephen Tayo – the show brings together a diverse body of work that challenges historical and culturally biased tropes and stereotypes by presenting an alternative world view.

The virtual tour of The Satirists, scanned and produced by The Net Gallery, will be available to view soon.

As a taste of what to expect, here we feature a few images from the show.
