Originally from Kent, Laurie Vincent is a Brighton-based artist and founding member of the Mercury Prize nominated UK band Slaves. His distinctive style of painting is notable for its bold use of pattern and striking motifs, influenced in part by artists such as Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Raymond Pettibon. Vincent was the main featured artist at The Other Art Fair’s Victoria House fair in London, in October 2019.
